In 1998, Emma Wall formed her independent record label, ELF Records. That year, Wall released a debut ‘EP Shades Of Grey’. Recorded at Musiclab, the EP was Emma’s first move towards making music her full-time career. In 1999, Wall produced her second release, the self-titled EP ‘Emma Wall’.

Emma’s acoustic-driven sound attracted the attention of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). At the request of the ABC, Emma made an exclusive recording of her popular single, “Lover Come Home”. Her single continues to feature on high-rotation and was released in 2000 in the national compilation album, “ABC AIRPLAY – Vol3″.

Emma Wall’s song ‘Dance’ featured in the 2002 Australia Day commemorative compilation, ‘Local and Live’, produced with the support of the Australian Music Foundation.

In 2002, Emma Wall released her full-length album ‘Sneak’. Recorded at the renowned Metropolis Studios (John Farnam, Killing Heidi, Things of Stone and Wood) and mastered by Martin Pullen, of Edensound, ‘Sneak’ again sees Emma shift comfortably into the production arena. Written by Emma and co-produced with Sirii Metsar (Wendy Rule, Mick Thomas, Jig Zag) ‘Sneak’ is testament to Emma’s increasing professionalism both live and in the studio. ‘Sneak’ is an easy-to-listen-to album that finds the balance between a world-class studio production and the raw sound of her live performance. Emma has since released Emma Wall “Live” and a promotional e.p. “Took a Picture”.
